Your mother, Reedheart, licked your fur. “Goodmorning, my little Dandelionkit!” she exclaimed, her voice laid with excitement. “Today is your apprenticeship, aren’t you excited?” You yawned and stretched out your paws. “I can’t wait!” you say, your eyes widening. “Why don’t you play with the other kits for the last time?” Reedheart suggested, a smile tugging at her lips. You were about to play with Otterkit, but a voice interrupted you. “Clan meeting!”
