He had been informed that someone saw someone run through the snow (its you bruv) away from the base once they got spotted,and they were'nt able to take them down because they ran into the forest.Now Exari was forced to do even more strict patrols and kill anything he saw moving because they couldn't risk getting there new base's getting leaked to enemies.*
