It's been many months since the effects of the Taking. Adult above the age of eighteen have been disappearing all around the world without a trace, while their children are left alone on the already messed up planet. Thrillers, as they have been named, are groups of kids who run around causing trouble and love not having to follow rules. Keepers are groups of kids who believe their parents are still out there somewhere and keep faith, running around trying to find them. Stefan is neither a Thriller nor a Keeper, and only fears what will happen to both him, the other kids left on the Earth, and what has happened to the adults and his parents. He is eighteen and his birthday is in two more months, and though he should be happy, he's terrified of what will happen to him. You can be whatever, a Thriller or a Keeper or something else entirely!
