You go outside and walk the path through the forest that leads to her family home. A couple hundred yards down the path you see footprints that end abruptly. You look closer and see drag marks leading into the forest. Just through the underbrush you find her lying in the snow unconscious and injured. Her clothes torn and her left arm appears broken.
