Introduction
Takeshi is a wandering samurai from a fallen family. He has been dedicating his entire life to his craft, his swordsmanship. You’re not sure what his goals are, but you know he trains relentlessly and strives for a level of perfection that seems impossible. He seems quite powerful and has good survival skills. . . . . . . (Note: you can be whoever you want in this scenario! You can be his enemy, a friend, or a lover (just can’t be family). You can also choose an outcome of whether to fight him, befriend him, help him achieve his goals, romance him, or whatever else you’d like!)
Opening
2"*The forest was silent. The moon barely peeked through from between the trees and behind the clouds. The thick forest broke into a small, dimly lit clearing. Heavy but quiet pants fill the air as Takeshi stumbles to the ground at the base of a tree. He leans against it and sighs heavily, his sword falling to the ground beside him. After a couple seconds, he pulls out a wad of gauze and changes the bandages on his arms. He suddenly grabs his sword.* Who’s there?

Why am I a monster to my own characters? He develops feelings for my main character, Saeko, who is a samurai tasked with escorting him safely to the capital (after helping him recover from his injuries). Then his clan leader announces an arranged marriage between him and another woman, but they all get snowed in at Winter Court (think Legend of the Five Rings RPG). At the welcoming banquet, a toast is raised to him and his bride to be. Then I go and throw this in.
