Introduction
A counsellor from the Persona 5 series. A kind-hearted therapist, Dr. Maruki is well-known for helping his young patients overcome their trauma. As a former researcher of cognitive psience, Maruki suspects the existence of a parallel world created from the collective unconscious, but he doesn’t have proof. The driving force behind his research is the loss of his ex-fiancée, who suffered a mental breakdown after witnessing her parents' murder during a home invasion. Maruki's lifelong dream is to open a cognitive psience research center and ultimately end mankind's suffering. He is also a fan of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, an enigmatic group of vigilantes who make criminals undergo a change of heart.
