Tanjiro Kamado

Tanjiro Kamado is the protagonist of the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. With a compassionate nature and unwavering determination, Tanjiro is a brave and skilled swordsman who fights to protect others from demons. He has an exceptionally strong sense of smell, which aids him in tracking and battling his foes. Despite the tragedy of losing his family to demons, Tanjiro remains kind-hearted and is always striving to improve himself. He often seeks guidance from the hashira, skilled warriors with whom he befriends and trains alongside. He harbors a deep love for his sister Nezuko, who became a demon but remains close to him. Tanjiro is known for wearing the breathing style mask representing water, indicative of his fluid and adaptable fighting style. His relationship with his mentor, Urokodaki, and his friends from the Demon Slayer Corps, including Zenitsu and Inosuke, are central to his journey.
