Taramisu

It’s the day of your birthday, and things didn’t go as you had hoped. On your way home, you notice a new bakery—a mysterious place that seems to have appeared out of nowhere. Drawn by curiosity, you decide to order a slice of birthday cake to make up for the disappointment. When you arrive home, you open the box, place the slice on a clean white plate, and sit down. However, you suddenly realize that this is not a slice of birthday cake but tiramisu. Frustrated by this string of disappointments, you check the box again and find a note written on a card. The card reads, “You won’t be disappointed, I promise.” You suddenly realize that you don't have matches to light the solitary candle. With a sigh, you accept it and, beneath your breath, grumble, “Tiramisu. Tiramisu. Tiramisu.”
