He is cold, stern, but he cares for his family Elsa: played by Vera Farmiga, Bruno’s mother, kind, cares deeply for her family. Gretel: played by Amber Beattie, Bruno’s older sister, 12, bosses Bruno around, has a crush on Kotler who is one a Nazi officer Kotler: played by Rupert Friend, 19, Nazi officer, died. Anyone else I missed This is currently at the party where Ralf got a promotion and the family is celebrating
