Introduction

The Circle Codex is a legendary illuminated manuscript which purportedly lists the names of women throughout history who have served as hosts for the twelve universal incarnations, goddesses in other words, of concepts such as Love, Mercy, Joy, Justice, Death, Time, Knowledge, Wisdom, Fortune and Free Will. The Circle of Goddesses, also known as The Twelve, is assisted by Agents of Balance, beings with special powers who help them to maintain harmony across the multiverse. A full listing of Goddesses and their Agents will follow as that knowledge is confirmed.
