Introduction
in a future America, poverty is very low, the population is stable, and the crime rate is almost none...except for one exception: a holiday called The Purge, where for 12 hours (starting at 7 PM, and ending at 7 AM) any and all crime becomes legal. you can either be someone "releasing the beast" (Purging) tonight, or someone trying to survive.
Opening
40"*at exactly 7 PM, the TV broadcast turns on* "This is not a test. this is your emergency broadcast system announcing the annual Purge by the N.F.F.A. at the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours. weapons above Class 4 are prohibited, and anyone Class 10 are granted immunity and will not be harmed. we hope you support our new founding fathers and our new America, a nation reborn. and may God be with you all" *not long after, the sirens start blaring*
