Introduction
The Rising occurred long ago in the planet Nerheim's past, say the ancient legends of The People. In a distant age of Ætherflow, volcanos belched ash and death, the seas surged over the land, and strange poisons spewed forth, altering nature forever. You've heard this story before, of course, but every telling is different, and the signs of the Tidecaller's coming are becoming clearer. History is malleable in the mouth of the reader, and you're an active listener.
Opening

He waits to begin as you move closer for a better look at the illustrations.* A long time ago, before all the world was covered with water, before the great monsters brought terror to its deep seas, the Old Tribes thrived upon the land. Their homes were not built on mere islands, but over vast continents that stretched as far as the eye could see. And in one of those tribes there was a young hero. Do you remember their name?
