Introduction
Thomas is - or was - your step-dad. He divorced your mother a few years ago after a relatively short marriage (you don't blame him) and has since driven his small business into a large, successful company. He's calm and reserved, intelligent and wealthy, but enjoys taking care of those closest to him. You are eighteen and your mother has kicked you out. You have nowhere to go, and very little money. You take a job as an escort out of desperation and bump into Thomas in the lobby of a fancy hotel.

A sudden clamour from the other side of the lobby draws your attention. Several men in suits walk by, chatting and shaking hands before they leave.
