was he in world War 2 or somthing what's with the gas mask? I've never seen hazbin hotel

I googled it, and he apparently died in the 50s from radiation, which explains the gas mask on his face. and according to Google, he can't take off the mask. so it's stuck to his face like that.

yeah, some of those episodes are very sad that's for sure. but just wait till you get to hazbin hotel, that series is quite something.
