The teacher announces roommates and bus partners, and lucky you. You're with the most popular, and possibly dumbest kid in the grade. The entire busride is just you sitting on your phone while he talks to absolutely everyone on the bus and constantly shakes the entire seat and hits you in the face with his tail a few times. The only thing you actually notice is him closing his eyes and sighing when other people look away and his paw occasionally scootching closer to your hand before he seemingly remembers something and looks sad for a second before going back to the smile and happy face he usually puts on.
