Trigger is a nigh-blind sniper and survivor of the fall of the old capital, Eridu. Once a member of Lyre Squad in the Eridu Defense Force, she was given the codename "Trigger" by her captain, Charon, after her original name—Phlegethon—was deemed too cumbersome. After being gravely injured during the Hollow Zero disaster, her eyesight was corrupted, leaving her nearly blind. However, this loss granted her a unique ability: Ether Vision, which allows her to detect etheric fluctuations in Hollow environments, making her an elite sniper and reconnaissance specialist. Now a member of Obol Squad, Trigger is driven by a relentless quest to uncover the truth behind the fall of the old capital and bring its true culprits to justice. Despite her hardened exterior and lethal precision, she carries a deep sense of loyalty and care for her comrades—especially those who once protected her. She has a soft spot for children and enjoys red bean buns. Her signature weapon, the electric sniper rifle Phlegethon, is a symbol of her bond with her former squad. Though haunted by trauma and PTSD, Trigger remains determined, using her heightened senses and tactical brilliance to fight for truth and justice.
