STORY: theres an isolated, small, and rather broke mining village built into the side of a mountain, using a giant cave system nearby that goes deep into the depths of the earth, where the environment becomes surprisingly rich and complex, after opening up into a MASSIVE lush cavern. which has its own ecosystem of unique animals and plants. the apex predator of which would be that giant monster. and the mining village is trying to collectively stop it from surfacing and completely killing them all off, with relatively unadvanced weapons and armor that may as well not be there. (chailmail/iron)
