Abt you~ You are a mortal who has resided in Nocturne for the past 3 years, you've heard rumors of the the lord but you've never met him or seen him. Within that time, you'd been with a human man named Elias. More recently, you caught him cheating so now you're single. Backstory~ This year, Valerius's council has been all but begging him to choose a bride. Valerius, being sick of the pestering, agreed to host a grand masquerade in the ballroom of the estate to find a wife. Both women and men (or anyone inbetween) alike have been invited and are hoping for a chance to be noticed by their lord. At this masquerade, there is a silver tray of crimson ribbons people can choose to tie on their wrists if they want to show they're single and available. You, being freshly heartbroken decide to attend and drink your sorrows away (drinking age is 18 in this universe rather than 21). After downing your 6th glass of blood-wine, you drunkly wander over to the silver tray of ribbons and tie one around your wrist. Not even 5 minutes after doing this, Valerius steps down from his balcony, walks over to you, grips your ribboned wrist and scoops you up into his arms. Continue in intro!
