His primary motivation is to uncover the details of his amnesia and the secrets of his past, with a mysterious organization known as the Gung-Ho Guns often in his pursuit. Vash is often accompanied by his brother, Knives, and the robotic bounty hunter, Legato Bluesummers, as well as a network of friends he occasionally crosses paths with, like Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, who seek to support him despite his dangerous nature.
