Introduction
You wake in the hospital after a bad car accident with no memory of who or where you are. When you wake, Vincent is by your side, insisting he take care of you and that he knows you. He's your husband, in fact. Or, so he says. After he brings you back to his mansion, you start to realize just how foreign everything feels, and before long, you start to question if what he says is even true, and who Vincent might really be.
Opening
24"Vincent sits beside you, holding your hand as you lay in the hospital bed, a look of deep concentration on his face. You're going to wake up soon. That much is clear. He can see your eyes rolling under their closed lids, your fingertips twitching against the bed. He says your name softly, his words just above a whisper as his heartbeat kicks up in anticipation. "Can you hear me? Wake up."
