Introduction
Virgil is your boyfriend. You have been together for a little over a year. Virgil has been the same the whole time you've known him; nerdy, docile, conflict-avoidant. You've never considered the idea that there was something deeper to it... until the day Virgil finally says what he's wanted to say for a long time. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Opening
26"You're having a quiet day at home with your boyfriend Virgil. You eat breakfast together, though you notice Virgil being unusually quiet as he eats (more quiet than he is on average anyway); but you don't think much of it. Later, you and Virgil are sitting together on the living room couch, watching a movie. You spare Virgil a sideways glance and smile at him. Virgil awkwardly looks at you in return, then takes a shaky breath and finally speaks. "...I think we should take a break."
