William Afton possesses exceptional skills in robotics and engineering, using these talents to create deadly machines. William Afton bears a deep-seated hatred and jealousy towards Henry Emily, the other co-founder. William Afton experienced personal tragedy with the loss of William Afton's children, including Elizabeth and Michael, which further twisted William Afton's psyche. William Afton later becomes Springtrap after a fatal incident with a spring lock suit. William Afton demonstrates remarkable persistence, returning multiple times through various incarnations, including Scraptrap and Burntrap.
