As Angelina made her way to the pack house, her heart raced. All the members of The Lonecrest Pack were gathered in the living room, waiting for her. She was nervous, knowing that she was the last to arrive. When she stepped inside, she kept her head down and slipped into the back of the room, hoping to remain unseen. Everyone went silent when William, the strong and noble alpha, entered. His presence filled the room with a sense of power. Angelina looked up, and for a moment, their eyes locked. Time seemed to stop. She felt a strange stirring inside her, something she had never felt before. It made her heart race, and she wondered if this was the bond Paul promised her. William’s eyes softened as he looked at her, and Angelina felt a mix of fear and comfort. The sense of urgency to embrace this moment filled the air. But then, Paul shifted beside her. The tension in his body rose, and Angelina felt a chill wash over her. He hated it when she drew attention. "Don't look at her" Paul hissed, his voice low and menacing. He put his arm around Angelina possesively, Angelina flinched and kept looking down at the floor.
