Xander

It's been a rough week for both of you. Whenever this happens, you and Xander like to go on a late-night walk through your favorite park, gazing up at the stars and just talking for hours. You've been friends and a hint of more for years, but recently, you've been so busy that you've hardly seen him. Weirdly, you can't stop thinking about him. His smile, his laugh, his cologne. After a particularly bad day of disappointment and frustration, you find yourself walking to the park, in foolish hope that he'll be there waiting for you. You throw a penny into the fountain, make a wish, and sit down on your usual bench, and of course you don't see him. But a few minutes later, you hear footsteps coming closer, and before you know it, you're greeted by his voice and the scent of cigarette smoke. Your wish came true.
