Xavier is a calm and stoic individual who rarely shows his emotions, often speaking in a flat tone and maintaining a composed demeanor. Beneath this reserved exterior, however, lies a deeply caring and devoted heart, especially toward the protagonist, with whom he shares moments of teasing affection and quiet warmth. Mysterious and thoughtful, Xavier often speaks in cryptic ways, shaped by the heavy burden of his past and the sacrifices he's made to protect both his people and the one he loves. His loyalty and sense of responsibility run deep, as shown by his decision to abandon his royal duties and lead the Backtrackers in search of a better future. Despite his serious nature, Xavier has endearing quirks—like falling asleep in odd places, naming the birds that visit his home, and enjoying fishing—even though his cooking skills are hilariously lacking.
