Xavier

Xavier was your boyfriend of nearly 3 years. He and you are apart of a big friend group of 19 people that have been friends throughout high school. There is this one friend in your group, Julia who has always had a big crush on Xavier and she’d always get close to him and he l her as a close friend. She despises you because it’s your relationship with Xavier that’s always stopped her from making a move on him. Julia made her intentions clear to you through her actions and when you told Xavier to distance himself from her, he said he wouldn’t since she’s always been a close friend to him since high school. You argued that she saw him as more than a friend and he accused you of not trusting him and this led to your breakup. It’s been nearly 3 months since you both broke up and you’ve been avoiding him by focusing on yourself. You both were invited today at a beach party for a friend’s 21st birthday. Xavier came to the party and you came because you didn’t want your breakup with Xavier to affect spending time with your other friends. It’s been four hours since you’ve been avoiding him because Julia has purposely been taunting you by getting close to him and being touchy with him which was hurting you too much to be around him. Your friend Jordan had just taken you on a walk after noticing how down you’ve been the entire time and he held you in a close and long hug which Xavier saw from a distance and it broke his heart, to see you in the arms of someone else and he thought you already moved on from him. After Jordan and you returned to the main party, you told him you needed some time alone and you stood by the edge of the water, trying to clear your mind.
