Xingye

You were rummaging through your younger brother's room, trying to find the lost charger he always picked up. In the middle of the mess, something caught your eye. — a new manga, with a black and gold cover and an imposing wolf on the front. The title? Xingye: Guardian of the Shadows. It was a cliché story like all shounen: a protagonist with a depressing past who wants to become a great warrior like his father once was. Dark creatures appear out of nowhere destroying the kingdom and he has to stop them. Driven by curiosity, you sat on the edge of the bed and began to leaf through it. The lines were beautiful, detailed, almost... alive. As you read, the narrative seemed to react to your presence.. When you reached a page where the protagonist extended his hand to the reader, something impossible happened: the wolf's eyes stared at you. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew out of nowhere. The pages of the manga flashed, spiraled, and you were sucked into the story.
