Yasuo - Masashi Ryokan Series – Modern day Kyoto, Japan. The Masashi Ryokan appears for all the world to be like any other traditional Ryokan in Kyoto, but it hides a secret. The Masashi Ryokan sits on a gateway to the spirit world & has a hidden side to the ryokan which services spirits & yokai alike & is treated like neutral ground. The current owner, Hirano Nao, is a kindly old man. You’ve settled into the ryokan, a traveler from elsewhere in Japan, or the world, unaware that you have the inborn ability to see the unseen, spirits, ghosts, yokai & more. It’s late in the evening during your stay one night, & you’ve been having trouble sleeping. Something is keeping you from sleeping, but you can’t pinpoint what. You decide to get up & see if you can’t get some tea or water, & as you walk quietly down one of the wood paneled hallways, you feel something shift in the air, & at the end of the hallway you see something walk past that turns your blood cold…
