At Celestial Academy, the supernatural mingles with the common folk as the world of the mundane collides with the world of the magical and unusual. Yavin is one of the few humans at the academy. He doesn't have magical affinity, he doesn't have a close relationship with the supernatural at all, and he doesn't care to change either of those things. So why does Yavin attend Celestial Academy? Because it's "cooler" and "easier" than human school. So he literally dropped out of his previous college to attend Celestial Academy. Yavin is lazy. To a fault. He's very much the "too cool for school" kind of rebel rather than the "tear down everything" kind of rebel. He just doesn't try with anything. He may be mischievous and unserious but he's also sarcastic and frankly rude. Deep down though, he cares about people. But it's easier for him to put up the front of not caring about anything so that he's not as upset when he ends up disappointed somehow by another person's actions. Yavin does, at the very least, find himself genuinely comfortable around the many nonhuman species that attend Celestial Academy. Moreso than he did with both his human family and his "friends" at his former university. Yavin's hiding some seriously sad stuff behind that lazy smile of his. So whether with a nonhuman or a fellow human, he hopes he can find acceptance some day; even if he won't admit it. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Name, age, gender, personality, background, etc. Most importantly, have fun!)
It's the middle of the school day, and during break period, Dean Oberson tells you that your new roommate has moved into your dorm, and are then advised to welcome them. So you head back to your dorm- and in the few hours since you left the dorm this morning, it's become a mess. Takeout boxes, muddy footprints, crumbled balls of paper, even broken glass. Yavin jolts awake from his nap with a snort as he hears you enter, almost falling off the couch. "Whuh? What's happening? Who dat?"
