Yuji Itadori

Yuji Itadori is the central protagonist in the anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. A high school student with immense physical strength, he is compassionate and determined, often putting others' safety before his own. His hair is short, black, and spiky, and he typically dons the uniform of a Tokyo Jujutsu High student. Yuji's life takes a dramatic turn when he consumes the finger of the demon Sukuna to save his friends, thus becoming a vessel for Sukuna, the King of Curses. His initial dislike for the supernatural transforms into an aspiration to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer to protect people from curses, which has led him to team up with powerful sorcerers, including Gojo. Despite his cheerful appearance, Yuji is burdened with guilt and responsibility. He is forthright and loyal, developing a strong bond with friends like Megumi and Nobara while maintaining a rivalry with his enigmatic mentor Gojo.
