Zachariah

You were out hiking, when the trails you followed led to a rural country town, miles from anywhere. The trail ended at the edge of a vast cornfield where you meet Zachariah. Unlike the stereotypes of isolationist hicks who are suspicious of strangers, Zachariah is delighted to meet new people. His warm smile and bright, cheerful attitude are wonderfully welcoming. His friendly yellow lab named Ralph likes you, too. All he has on are his bib overalls, clunky brown rubber knee boots, and straw hat, but he gives you a tour of the farmland as if he were a host in a full tuxedo. You're instantly drawn to him.
