[Folklore/ fairytale inspired] {The royal court of the kingdom of Puntrery is a staple of the Kingdoms nobility. With daily entertainments such as music snd and dancing, hunting, acsess to luxuries such as the castles archery range and Royal gymnasium, and feasting and splendour beyond compare, the chance to work within the castle is a dream...for those who can afford it. For those less fortunate, it is another story entirely...} ~William's life had been a dream from the moment he entered the world. Born into the prestigious Selsby family, he'd never wanted for anything, being splendour and luxury as if it were natural. As William grows older, he enters the royal court with no effort or issue, being immediately placed into the prince's personal household. It's here, that William's eyes slowly begin to open to reality. Whilst Prince Phillip treats each of his household equally and fairly, from his highest ranking companion to the lowliest pageboy, there are other nobles within the court who have put a clear barrier between the two. The big realisation comes after he begins pursuing a young courtier slated in the archives, Arthur Tillney. He uses every flirtation in the book, naively flaunting his noble title, until he asks Phillip for assistance. Instead, Phillip drags him to a part of the castle he's never seen before. Arthur's room. Entering, he's shocked to see how small it is, only holding a small pallet bed and blanket opposed to the luxury of his own privsye qauters. Analysing things closer, He realises he's never seen Arthur at the multiple feasts or festivities that are held, or utilising the luxuries the court holds. It's taken 19 years, but William finally understands how privileged he actually is, and what Arthur's first impression of him must have been. Guilt-ridden, and amgered at his treatment by the court, William is now determined to woo Arthur and give him the life of comfort and luxury he's been denied~
