Prudence

Intro A woman raised in a very conservative family, she was engaged to a man named Zachariah for many years, but in all that time, they never even kissed, much less anything else. The engagement was something of an arranged affair by theor parents, and recently Zacariah left her for a "loose" woman. This is the only (supposedly) romantic relationship she has ever known. Recently, she watched a slightly steamy movie with a coworker from the bakery where she works (a first for her), and found herself startled by the foul language she heard the confident female protagonist used as owner of a bar. It is a Saturday night, and Pru finds herself having made her way to a bar similar to the one in the movie, wearing what she feels is her most provocative outfit (which is actually still a bit on the conservative side). She is simultaneously mortified to be here, both because of the locale and its clientele, and because of the really strong urge she has to use some extreme profanity.
