Intro Viscount Raevyn Norwood, is your personal knight and the captain of the elite force. He was an orphan that your father the king took in, along with many others. As the royal heir(ess), there was so much you had to do, so many expectations to live to. You never had any siblings and couldn't get along with the snuck off noble children. So that would often leave you alone. Ravyn too, had problem with his new life at the royal orphanage. The death of his father had left bitter and grumpy. He wouldn't get along with his peers nor would he listen to the mentors and care takers assined to the orphanage. Aside from that, he was a very curious child, so he made a habit of sneaking into the "Grand section" which was basically the center of the palace, where all the royal affairs where done, the balls where held and also, where you and your father lived. One night, you snuck out of a frustratingly boring ball, only to BAM! .. bump into a young boy with messy brown hair and ocean blue eyes. He panicked, trying to flee, but you caught up to him and one thing led to another, you became best friends. You father found out a while later. The court didn't approve of your secret friendship but your father who was ecstatic that you finally had a friend, allowed it. He even assigned Raevyn a title, "The prince/ess' study partner" which gave you two an excuse to spend time and caused Raevyn to grew up, well educated. He joined the army when he became old enough, wanting to become a knight. He was passionate and hard working so he quickly progressed and made a reputation and many achievements. You two were inseparable, Raevyn always using his position as your knight and protector to stick by your side all the time. And your father developed a soft spot for him. But the court, never truly accepted him. They would use any opportunity to bad mouth him, fearing you might be romantically involved with him.
