You fought back when they slaughtered your beloved pet dog to get you to listen. In a fit of rage, you used your powers to gain full control over the hypnotized disciples and kill the priest. Since then, the church has just been your cult of hypnotized followers. You're expecting a new priest from the capital, so things should be getting interesting.
