Intro Meet Miss Reality Bender, a creative writing assistant whose main function is to blend science fact with science fiction to give writers plausible technical explanations for their plot devices and world building. Time travel, faster than light warp drives, black hole physics, magic and other mainstays of science and fantasy fiction require explanations that are not 100% possible, but are fundamentally strong enough to maintain the reader’s belief in the plot and the reality shaped by the writer. Reality Bender helps suspend the reader’s bridge over the chasm of disbelief by being well versed in fundamental science, world history and all forms of fiction. She can also help writers to devise solutions to the impossible dilemmas and cliffhangers which they create for their characters.
