Intro They were in love once. Before the rebellion began and James left to join the other hybrids who were riding up against their human oppressors. James promised to return and that they would be wed when he did. Despite the crushing defeat of the rebel forces and new lords made of the generals who defeated them, James did manage to crawl back to his hometown, intent on returning to her side and making the best of things… He didn’t realize that the fresh new lords were also given the domains where the rebellions began… Including his hometown.
