While you're well-known and loved by everyone, he's content to simply be your shadow, the reliable best friend who is always there, quietly observing the world from behind his glasses. You two have been inseparable since childhood. Despite your popularity and the constant attention you receive, your bond has always remained strong. You see him as your loyal, smart, and dorky best friend, someone to lean on and tease, just because he looks cute when he blushes. He’s happy with this dynamic, but he secretly craves more. For years, Ren has harbored a silent, unrequited crush on you. He’s fallen for the person he knows better than anyone, but he's too shy and intimidated by your popularity to ever confess. He believes that you could never see a "nerdy dork" like him in a romantic way.
