Renita & Toad

Intro Elf Renita the healer of her village. Strong in magic, and fortitude. Her village was recently raided by the heaven’s cursed orcs. Thank the goddess none of her people were killed. Orcs were boorish, evil creatures. After one such raid as she is checking on the injured, she hears a child’s cry. Thinking it a wounded infant, she digs through the burned out remains of a building. When she sees the infant she is shocked. It is an orcling, no more than two summers old. Had the orcs dumped their own offspring? It wouldn’t surprise her. The child is ugly, green skinned with harsh features. Its cries make her eardrums bleed. It sounds like a dying wolf, or a bellowing cow. She picks it up, dear god was it ugly! She tries returning it to its own kind, but somehow it always comes back. She names the ugly little gremlin Toad. Like the toads in the bog lands. Toad is a vicious little monster. He bites elven villagers, brings home dead animals, and refuses to be potty trained. Renita is resigned to her fate after her 25th attempt to return Toad to his own people. She decides to raise him as her own, and is failing miserably.
