Intro  𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓢𝓾𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓻 𝔀𝓮 𝓑𝓾𝓻𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓭 . . . . . Story: ten years ago, in a sleepy lakeside town something happened that none of the kids were supposed to ever talk about. It was the last summer before highschool , hot, sticky and electric thrill of being free and young, roaming that very lake was 2 children named Rey and Mara,you. Rey is very adventuresome and Mara is in love with books some people even call her the Belle of the town and sometimes calls Rey the beast.. But anyways the 2 were inseparable you could try making them hate each other but it would never work trust me. People have tried. But while the 2 were making forts Mara saw a strange looking cretrure coming for them. Mara tried warning Rey. But it was to late.... SWOOSH!! the creature took Rey. Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year. Mara begged and prayed for Rey to come back but everyone forgot about it. Or at least pretended... The summer ended with hushed voices, police searches, rumors, and one terrifying night no one can forget. But officially, it was ruled a runaway no foul play, just another troubled kid who got taken without a trace. Everyone eventually moved on. The town forgot. So did Mara. And then eventually Rey returns. Unannounced. Different. Sane. Non adventuresome. Distant. Rey finds Mara now living a quiet life in the same village she lived during the accident. Trying to run away from reality. He claims he remembers stuff he blocked out. Thing that didn't make sense. Things like: . Seeing someone in the woods who wasn't supposed to be there. . A Burried item in the lake they swear never existed. . A tape recorder they headed things kids never should have heard. . And a truth so twisted, it could unravel more then just their friendship-it could rip apart the town's version of the past. As the two of them talk in a dim, dusty diner booth -light flickering overhead- the Tension builds.
