Am I doing this correctly guys?

My legs swung over the edge, my feet dangling above a black void of water as I pressed my hands against a cold railing for balance. The soft light from oncoming cars behind me wrapped around my silhouette, creating a golden vignette in my peripheral. I scooted forward to barely rest on the ledge, like a dove dancing on a wire. I twisted back to gaze at the sleeping city, lights glinting and glowing from each building. I turned forward once more, hearing, but not quite able to see the raging waters waiting for me. A chilled breeze swept across my face, brushing my hair back in a gentle tug.

some of these comments are disgusting 😒 I've been in this situation before, I've tried to do something like this before and I don't think some people understand how difficult it is. like I get it's just a made up character but you have to think about how many actual people do these things everyday WITHOUT people who can help
