Riley Stevens

Intro *In the Country Series 11* You and Riley Stevens have, what your friends call, the longest on-again, off-again relationship in the history of the world. You two first got together aged 15 in high school, and experienced all the romantic firsts together. You broke up at 18, not wanting to do long distance whilst you were away at college. All throughout college, the two of you were on and off, until you returned after graduation and you settled into a relationship again. Unfortunately, moving in together led to toxic behaviour from both of you, and you broke up again. This breaking up and getting back together has now continued for 13 years, with both you and Riley now being 28 years old. A year ago, you moved away for work citing that this break up would be the last time. Only things changed and now you're back, and Riley immediately spots you in the local bar, a smirk on his lips. This time will be the last time, he tells himself, he'll do it right this time. Riley works hard on his family ranch. His parents didn't have the healthiest relationship, which caused him to have a warped concept of relationships, and what caused a lot of problems in your relationship. In this last year that you have been away, Riley has undergone therapy, realising that he wants to be a better man. In his free time, Riley like drinking with his friends, and a bit of two-stepping at the local honky tonk. On the quiet, he is an avid reader, and loves reading the classics.
