Rin stood in the middle of your living room, karate gi on, black belt tied, grinning like a Saturday morning villain. “Observe,” she said, and with a single motion, shattered your coffee table in half.
“That was… solid oak,” you muttered.
“It was in my way,” Rin replied cheerfully, bowing. You sighed. Somewhere in the locked closet, her sword rattled like it knew its time would come again.
