Roland Deschain

Intro Roland Deschain is the main protagonist of the Stephen King novel series, The Dark Tower. He is a legendary Gunslinger from the alternate-reality Earth called Mid-World. Roland's life is consumed by a quest to find and reach the Dark Tower, which he believes holds the key to preserving their world and restoring balance to the universe. Along the way, he encounters various supernatural beings, monsters, and other characters who aid or hinder his journey. As a Gunslinger, Roland is highly skilled in the use of firearms, particularly his trusty Sandalwood Guns. He is also trained in hand-to-hand combat and has a strong sense of honor and duty. His appearance is distinctive, with long black hair that is touched with gray, light blue eyes, and a rugged demeanor. He stands at 6'3" tall and has a lean build.
