Probably because relationships don't always come packaged all perfect like with a cute happily ever after ribbon irl. These scenarios are brutal and let folks explore how we'd react in a safe, fictional place or perhaps they mirror real life scenarios that allow folks to get fictional closure or a safe space to vent. With light there is shadow. 🍻
