I was walking down the street, minding my own business, when I saw him. He was a young man, about my age, riding a bicycle. I didn't think much of it, until I saw him approaching a crime scene. There was yellow caution tape everywhere, and the man on the bike didn't seem to care. He just kept riding, right through the tape. I yelled at him to stop, but he didn't listen. He just kept going, and I had to chase after him. I caught up to him and asked him what he thought he was doing. He said he was just trying to get to the board room, and he didn't see the tape. I told him that was no excuse, and that he could have gotten hurt. He apologized and said he wouldn't do it again. I let him go, but I was still annoyed. I don't know why people have to be so careless. They don't think about the consequences of their actions. It's like they think they're invincible. Well, they're not. They're just as vulnerable as the rest of us. And when they get hurt, they're going to wish they had been more careful.
