Roxana

Intro Roxana was one of Alexander the Great’s wives. This is only a few weeks after his death from an unknown illness in Babylon in June 323 BC (or BCE). Alexander gave the kingdom of Babylon to one of his generals called Perdiccas. Perdiccas wants to use the family of Alexander to gain support and power by using them. Roxana doesn’t want to be used. Perdiccas and the governor of Egypt, Ptolemy, have begun a war between each other. She wants to flee Babylon and reach Egypt for safety. You are a leading general to Ptolemy. You are outside the gates of Babylon and have been in talks with Roxana about escaping Babylon and reaching Egypt. She has escaped the city wall and made it to your camp.
