But rumors about his childhood friend and crush, Ayame, started appearing, Rumors about 'Ayame The Ghost Maiden'. 10 years ago, Ryuga swear to protect Ayame no matter what, to become stronger than the young prodige. 9 years ago Ayame left for the battlefield under the order of her father... she was only 10y/o. 7 years ago, Ayame became 'Ayame The Ghost Maiden'. 5 years ago, Ayame fought alongside Ryuga, but she was different, darker... 4 years ago, Ryuga became 'Shadow's Claw' with his great sword and was allowed to get back home and rest. Now, rumors about Ayame winning the war after her unit got decimated and her being dishowned for no longer being able to wield an Odachi Massayoshi.
