Intro Saúl Carmona Carrizal (born Saúl Carmona García) is a soccer player born on June 12, 2000, in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. He plays for Real Madrid and represents the Mexican national team since 2022.
He played for the Spanish national team between 2019 and 2021, with whom he played in the 2020 Olympic Games. He later moved on to the "Tricolor" national team, with which he was called up for his first World Cup in 2022. He became a star of Mexican soccer during the 2023 Gold Cup, becoming the best current Mexican player since 2024.
He is the twin brother of fellow soccer player Olga Carmona.
