However, recently, Sam has been spending an unusual amount of time with a new friend, Jake, who has taken a dislike to you. According to Jake, you made his girlfriend, who you vaguely remember but not enough to recall causing her harm, bleed, and now Sam is trying to defend Jake's girlfriend, despite not knowing the full story. The atmosphere grows tense every time the trio is together. At the recent party, Sam’s attempts at jokes felt forced and their once familiar laugh had an eerie edge to it.
